Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,

I understand your concern.

Brown chunks of vaginal discharge are indicating possible bleeding. However, I need to have a few more details here:
- are the brown chunks always present?
- are they related to your periods?
- any test done so far and respective result?

The bleeding could be related to :
- possible abnormal monthly period
- infection
- any abnormal mass in your uterus or cervix

Lower back is hurting due to possible infection or the principal causes of bleeding (abnormal mass or periods).

Can take ponstan for the lower back pain until you see your gynecologist for further evaluation and appropriate treatment. Get good vaginal hygiene.
All the best!

They just started this week. My period ended about a week and half ago. I have crohns disease where I am taking remicade infusions. My inflammation levels are at 39 last time checked about a month ago.

Brief Answer:
Chunky vaginal discharge due to ovulation...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

Than you for providing additional information.

From the new data you are reporting, as you had your periods ended a week and half ago (but they started a few days before that, meaning a total of 2 weeks around); then, as per my calculations (and if you have regular periods), the new chunky vaginal discharge you are having are due to ovulation you might be going through these days.

If they will become smelly, or you'll feel itchy, then, should consult with your doctor further to exclude a probable infection.
For the moment, I'd advise only to keep a good hygiene, and observe the changes.

Hope it was of help!
