Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

I recommend in this situation exploring alternate medications to help with pain. Opioids are not only addictive and dangerous, they also increase pain when used for more than a few months or years at a time (hyperalgesia). I would ask your doctor about a pain medication like Cymbalta, Effexor, or Neurontin, which are all highly effective for back pain.
