Suggest Treatment For Severe Body Ache, Fever And Joint Pain
Question: Hellow Doctor,
my wife is suffering from joints pain in serveral parts of the body with feaver and few rashesh, it started joint pain with wrist 2 days before and now spreaded almost all parts of of the body, with too much of body ake, fever and eyes are completely red and skin rashesh(small spots on the body) started today.
General Physican prescriibed Calpol 1-1-1, Pankind 1-0-1 before food, zerodol sp 1-0-1, zyrtec 0-0-1, and also she has under gone Blood test for CBC,RRS, RA FACTOR,URIC ACID,TSH,NSI AG FOR DANGUE. All this test result are noraml and dengue is negative. so what kind of disease it is and how to treat for reduce body ake joints paint, fever and skin rashes, is there any thin else i need to do for treating this, or any suggession for this disease.

Chikungunya is a viral disease transmitted to humans by the bites of infected mosquitoes (Aedes aegypti). It causes fever and severe joint pain. Other symptoms include muscle pain, headache, nausea, fatigue and rash.
Most patients recover fully, but in some cases joint pain may persist for long duration.
There is no specific medicine to treat Chikungunya fever.
Beside the prescribed medications which are effective to relieve fever, pain and to prevent stomach acidity,
Get her plenty of rest
Let her drink fluids to prevent dehydration
