Brief Answer:
Dysentry, needs work up and supportive care

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Bloody diarrhea is likely dysentery but prescribing zantac and sending home by ER doctor was not wise. Zantac is basically for gastric discomfort. Ideally stool examination should have been done, antibiotics should have been prescribed and diet modifications like BRAT diet ( banana, rice, applesauce and toast) along with guava, pomegranate juices should have been advised. Imodium can be used for diarrhea.

Consult a physician if the issue persists. Meanwhile do as mentioned above in diet aspect and if the dysentery persists consult a doctor ASAP.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
