Muscle soreness is common for nearly a week.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic for posting your query.
I'm Dr. Sudhir Kumar,
I have gone through your question in detail and understand your concern.
As in this procedure needles have to go through skin and soft tissues including muscle, which will cause soreness.Initially there will be muscle soreness for up to a week afterward. It is common. Ice packs will usually control this discomfort. There is moderate discomfort involved for a few weeks after. Some patients may have some "deep sunburn" type feeling. Some may develop hypersensitivity or burning pain or numb areas for a few weeks. You can wait for one or two weeks more before really worry. You can take analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief.
You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
Hope I have answered your query.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.

Soreness should be more in back and less in thighs.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back
As in this procedure needles have to go through skin and soft tissues. Then nerves are stimulated. During procedure and identifying nerves many a times your muscles of thigh jumps (strongly contracts) which may lead to fatigue and soreness. However more soreness should be in back.
