Suggest Treatment For Severe Ear Pain
Question: I am in good health, but got a sensitive right ear,painful if lobe is pulled, at same time sore throat on right side, and skin tenderness in upper right side if scalp

1.)Are you suffering from cold or cough or did you suffered from cold few days back?
2.)Did you cleaned your ear by finger or any pin like thing?
3.)Does the tenderness in the scalp ,pain in the ear and throat,remain constant or on and off?
4.) Did all these complains started at the same time?
5.) Do you suffer from other ear complains like reduced hearing or discharge from ear?

1 I have not had a cold for more than 6 months.
2 I did not in the past week use a Q tip to clean my ear
3 Tenderness in scalp is when I touch my hair. When I put slight pressure on scalp, the pain disappears.
Pain in ear is when I put pressure on it, by lying on it with my pillow. Also if I pull or push on eternal part of ear.
If I swallow there is a pain that travels up to my ear
4 all complaints were within a short time - several hours.
5 My hearing is fine no discharge. From time to time I have psoriasis, and use1% hydrocortisone, on the tip of my finger. I have not done so in past week

Looking at your symptoms for ear and throat pain ,there is following possibility:
Otitis externa-Inflammation of the skin of outer ear canal.Common signs and symptoms associated with otitis externa include ear pain that's made worse when the outer portion of the ear is pulled or pressed, ear pain when chewing food.
You may get relief in Otitis Externa by applying Antibiotic Ointment like Soframycin cream and Oral Analgesic with Anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen.
Also take Antacid like Rantac with Analgesic as it will help against the increased acidity due to Analgesic.
For the tenderness in scalp ,there might be the following possibility:
1.)Scalp psoriasis-it can all cause the scalp to become inflamed, irritated, and painful.
In such a case,you may apply topical steroid ointment and over-the-counter products often contain one of two medications
Salicylic acid ,Coal tar .
2.)Folliculitis- infections of the hair follicle can cause scalp sensitivity.In such a case,you may find relief by applying Topical Antibiotic cream .
After following the above measures,if your complains are not improving,then it would be advisable to consult a Dermatologist Doctor.
