default
Posted on Thu, 4 Feb 2016
Question: I have fatigue, despite getting more sleep than normal. I am having myalgias and arthritic joint pain not related to exercise. I am having trouble sleeping at night and I feel bloated in my lower abdomen/pelvis. On recent lab work, my anemia, RA, Lupus, Sed Rate, CBC, metabolic panel, and FSH were all normal, but my estradiol was twice the normal high for the assay. Ideas?

Brief Answer:
TSH and vitamin D levels advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Have you had TSH levels and vitamin D levels done? I would like to know the reports in case you have had them or else get them done as your symptoms relate to either of these.
In general take a lot of water milk and nuts like almonds and walnuts.
Menoease which you had been taking is also good so keep taking it as before.

- soya products are very good source of phytoestrogens which will help in combatting this weakness feeling
- take dry fruits like almonds and walnuts daily which are also rich in estrogen
- anti-oxidant tablets are also helpful which have lycopene and micronutrients too
