Question: I suddenly have bad foot pain. It's only in my left food on both sides running midway in my foot to my ankle. I am unable to sand or walk without considerable pain. There is slight swelling on the outside of my ankle but no bruising. I didn't fall or turn my foot or ankle any time recently.

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Thanks for the query.
It is quite possible that you may have Plantar fascitis leading to Foot arch strain while running.
I advise you to avoid running for 5 days. Wear shock absorbing basketball shoes, dip your feet in warm water with added salt for half an hour, take Tablet Ibuprofen 400mg twice a day for 5 days after meals and Tablet Ranitidine 150mg twice a day for 5 days before meals.
You may also have developed flat foot which may need to be evaluated. You can also wear medial silicone arch supports in your footwear.
