Question: I am 34 year male ,weight 77 kg. married in July 1 2016. From last 3 month, I am having serious hair fall.
I used to have large amount of dense hair on my head but daily I am losing hairs - while bathing, combing, sleeping. I don;t have long hair but not sure why this is happening. I am having dandruff also. I am using anti dandruff shampoo but they are not removed completely. If this continues, I will become bald. I am having personal and professional problems also due to which I am in stress. But not sure if this is
the only reason for hair fall. Please help.

Brief Answer:
Hair loss likely from stress

Detailed Answer:
Sorry to learn about your bothersome symptoms.

The most likely reason for your hair loss is stress in previous months. However other medical conditions must be ruled out such as thyroid problems.
When I see someone like you in my practice, I typically order the following blood tests in addition to a detailed physical examination:

CBC (Complete Blood Count, also known as Hemogram; includes Hemoglobin, WBC and Platelet counts)
Electrolytes (Sodium and Potassium in particular)
HbA1c (Glycosylated Hemoglobin = your last 3 months' glucose average). Also known by other names such as GlycoHemoglobin or Glycated Hemoglobin or A1c
Liver function tests (SGOT , SGPT, Albumin, Bilirubin, Alkaline Phosphatase)
Kidney function tests (BUN, Creatinine)
TSH (checks your thyroid)
25 hydroxy Vitamin D levels (ideal range 40 to 60 ng/ml = 100 to 150 nmol/liter)

None of these tests require any fasting and can be done at any time of the day Correct diagnosis and treatment requires the opportunity to examine the patient so you must see an dermatologist in-person.

Thanks Sir for your reply.
Most of the time I am burnt down. I don't want to work and am disinterested in things. I am always tired. Can't take any kind of mental pressure. Is this due to any kind of vitamin deficiency or stress. I am struggling in both my personal and professional level.

Detailed Answer:
Sorry to note your health challenges. It is quite likely the above tests will reveal the cause. An endocrinologist may consider ordering a Testosterone test too, if findings on examination suggest this possibility
