Question : Hello,
Around a year ago i have consulted a doctor for headache he has prescribed me with Selenium 10mg as medicine for migraine, i didn;t went for these medicine as i want to cure migrane naturally. Does it is compulsory to take these medicines what are the alternate ways to treat my migraine. And does there any method to get a relief from migrane pain quickly.

For prevention of headache attacks you can start taking timely breakfast and lunch.
Avoid fasting, excessive tea or coffee or chocolate.
Take proper night sleep.
Avoid excessive sunlight exposure.
Medications like Sibelium is used for prophylaxis and can be stopped if migraine is controlled.
Take pain killers when required.

Hi,

Sometimes it is not possible to follow strict lifestyle as suggested, is there a quick way to get a relief from migraine because once headache starts it stays for rest of the day.

Hello,
The most effective way is to take pain killers as soon as you identify the attacks. If possible get rest or a sleep as it aborts most episodes.
Some drugs like Triptans are also available to be taken for migraine attack.
