Question: My wife had a sudden severe headache at the top of her skull. It's going away but what should I do?

Headache on top of the head is a symptom of Tension headache. Common condition caused due to lack of sleep, hunger and stress.

The treatment for this type of headache is very simple. she can take any on counter available painkillers like ibuprofen and paracetamol.

If the pain persists for longer time with nausea and vomiting then you have to consult the doctor immediately.
