Suggest Treatment For Severe Headaches, Fever And Dizziness While Travelling
Question: I have recently returned from several months travel in South and Central XXXXXXX Most recently in Cuba and Mexico. While in Cuba a couple of weeks ago I came down with a severe headache (behind the forehead), some fever and some dizziness. After the fever went away I am left with a lower grade headache, but it is continuous. I have no history of headaches.

In fact the low grade headache has persisted for a couple of weeks. THere is no blurring, neck stiffness, seizures, etc. He has tried rest and pain killers to no avail.
Perhaps an infectious disease specialist would be more appropriate.
