Question: I am a 62 year old female with high blood pressure but otherwise healthy, in good weight and exercise regularly. I have thin skin which tears easily. Is there any supplement that can help with that? Also, do you recommend any supplements for general health.

Brief Answer:
no supplements...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

skin thickness is for the most part genetically determined, so you can't do much about it. Aging makes the skin even thinner and more prone to injuries, hematomas, etc. Since you're healthy, you should only take good care of your skin by avoiding excessive use of soap and chemicals that make it dry. Perhaps you can use creams that hydrate the skin.

A healthy person with a healthy diet does not need any supplements. Supplements are required when there's malabsorption of nutrients or specific deficiencies (for example vitamin D deficiency in individuals who don't get out to the sun too often or vitamin B12 deficiency in individuals with atrophic gastritis).
