Question: Recently tested positive on UA for temazepam I have never taken temazepam but did take Valium for relief of severe itching/insomnia due to pitycarius rosea...would this cause false positive for temazepam?

Actually Temazepam is one of the products of the metabolism of diazepam, one of the primary active metabolites of diazepam. So it's no wonder you tested positive I am afraid.
