Question : Recently tested positive on UA for temazepam I have never taken temazepam but did take Valium for relief of severe itching/insomnia due to pitycarius rosea...would this cause false positive for temazepam?

I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

The answer is yes, it should be the cause for the positive test. Both Diazepam and Temazepam belong to the same class, work in the same way. Actually Temazepam is one of the products of the metabolism of diazepam, one of the primary active metabolites of diazepam. So it's no wonder you tested positive I am afraid.
