Question : I keep a water bottle in my car with water in to extinguish my cigarettes. After work I put my regular water beside it used my phone and accidently took a gulf of the "cigarette water"...I tried to spit it all out but swallowed who knows what....besides my gums and tongue irritation what can I expect...my tummy feels upset but not sure if just nerves? Thank you

This might cause a little bit of irritation of your stomach but I suspect that you will not experience any significant symptoms. I think most of the discomfort is related to nervousness around the action of drinking the water by mistake.

there should be no long-term or short-term consequences related to your health. To be on the safe side I would recommend that you flush your system a bit withadditional fluid hydration of about 32 ounces. A bland diet for the remainder of the day would be reasonable as well. I suspect that you will maintain your normal good health regardless.
