Is the dandruff/scaling visible? Or do you only have itching without dandruff/scaling? Which antidandruff shampoo have you already tried?

Hello Doc, I have tried Selsome Blue; not flaky dandruff, just random itching which seems to subside with coconut oil

Scalp dysesthesia is a possibility

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

I apologize for some delay in my reply.
Your symptoms could be due to scalp dysesthesia if its not due to flaky dandruff.
I suggest you to try an oral antihistamine e.g cetrizine 10 mg once daily in evening. If that proves ineffective I would suggest amytriptyline (Tryptomer) 25mg twice daily, a tricyclic antidepressant Or Pregabalin 75 mg twice daily for a few days.
