Suggest Treatment For Severe Itching Sensation On The Legs And Arms

Question: I have horrible itching and rash on my legs, arms, back and upper chest. I am also taking Losartan. At times I can almost feel the bumps pop out on my arms. Went to the dermatologist today and she gave me Clobetasol 0,05% cream. Have not started it yet but would like to know the cause. Could it be the Losartan?
Brief Answer:
Either drug rash or eczema
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
According to your complaints it could be endogenous eczema or a drug rash due to losartan.
In both the situations topical steroid like clobetasol propionate cream will be beneficial.
Along with this take antihistaminic like tablet Cetrizine 10 mg twice daily for few days.
This will help in settling the rash as well the itching.
