Suggest Treatment For Severe Itching While Suffering From Cholestasis

Question: I delivered at 34 week 5 days to preterm baby. I was suffering from cholestasis in pregnancy and suffered from severe itching. Even after delivery itching did not go. My baby is suffering from jaundice and she is not able to suck so i spoonfeed my breast milk. Does my deranged liver enzyme anyways passing through my breastmilk and causing her jaundice
Brief Answer:
Jaundice is because of preterm delivery
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
I understand your anxiety about the issue.
Baby has jaundice because of preterm delivery and not because of your cholestasis of pregnancy.
Give your child barbiturates after consulting the Pediatrician and also give sun therapy.
Don't be nervous as baby Will be fine soon

Brief Answer:
Get LFTs done
Detailed Answer:
I usually continue udiliv till itching fades away or till 6 weeks whichever is earlier with regular monitoring of liver function tests.
So get you LFTs and see if there is any abnormality.
Take tablet cetrizine twice a day in case itching gets severe.
