Suggest Treatment For Severe Joint And Muscle Spasms While On Vicodin

Question: I woke up yesterday with severe joint and muscle pain. I couldn't go to work it was so bad. I do not have a fever, cough or other symptoms. I did not have a headache, but that is strange because I have chronic migraine. I rested all day, took ibuprofen with little effect. Took Vicodin at bedtime. Slept ok. I do not use Vicodin o any sort of narcotic on a regular basis. My knees are the worst, and I know I have osteo. arth. in them but this pain was more severe and generalized than normal. I am female , age 61 and know I am carrying about 30 pounds more than I should.
Brief Answer:
Needs lifestyle and dietary modification, walking aids, total knee replacem
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Do you have both knees affected?
Have you any deformity if the knees?
You could apply hot packs to the painful regions. This helps with arthritis XXXXXXX muscular pain. Keep the limbs elevated on pillows.
You may need to get Total knee replacement to treat your arthritic knees, for which you need to discuss with your Orthopaedic surgeon if you are willing for surgery. Otherwise you can get joint injections for temporary relief, use walking sticks, make dietary modifications to keep fit.
I hope I have answered your query.
