Brief Answer:
Needs evaluation at ER.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.

The persistent pain is worrisome. There can be a soft tissue injury. An MRI scan is needed to find out the extent of injury he has suffered. It is best to attend an ER for a proper evaluation.

Be careful to give pain killer after meals to avoid gastric acidity. He may need an over the counter anti emetic and antacids to feel better.

I hope this answers your query.
