Suggest Treatment For Severe Nausea
Consultation
Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.
It typically takes 2 weeks on sertraline for the side effect of nausea to go away. I would not split your pills, but rather take the entire dose. You can manage nausea by talking to your doctor about taking anti-nausea medication such as Zofran or Maalox. You can also take sertraline with food, or take it in the evening rather than the morning. This side effect will go away with time, don't worry!

Splitting will be okay, it just makes the process longer. I hope your endoscopy goes well.
