Suggest Treatment For Severe Neck Pain When Diagnosed With Spinal Stenosis

neck pain
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
I am sorry to see that you are having severe neck pain from spinal stenosis and herniated disk in your neck. Since you have already tried and failed several injections then additional injections will not help. I think at this point you have a few courses of action. One is to continue with pain and treatment with pain medication and physical therapy. The other is to have surgery. You will need to see a neurosurgeon for evaluation for possible surgery. I would caution you though that surgery may not help either. My best recommendation is to find a medical approach to your pain which will include pain medication, muscle relaxants, nerve medication like gabapentin and modalities like physical therapy, acupuncture, or massage therapy. Only when you are in excruciating pain would I consider surgery.
I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions

Medications
Detailed Answer:
Then I would recommend using the anti-inflammatory medication. If you have time massage therapy or acupuncture may help too. But anything stronger medication may make you groggy and not able to work. You have to decide what to do and you have few options.

herniated disk
Detailed Answer:
Yes you will have to live with the pain. But you may add the modalities I mentions like massage and acupuncture that may help. You could also try TENS units which you get from your physical therapist or medical doctor. Don't give up hope. The best thing I have found that help is regular aerobic exercise. This helps increase strength and allows for release of your bodies own endorphins that help reduce pain.
