Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Left Hip And Stomach Pain

Question: Missed a chair, fell on bottom, have severe pain in left hip and severe stomach pain,
Cannot get out of bed unassisted, hurts sitting down

I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. I think you got fracture in region of left hip. Most probably you got fracture neck or trochanter of left femur as you have severe pain in left hip and these fracture are common in your age and you are unable to get out of bed unassisted. It can be confirmed by x ray of left hip. You can take injection of diclofenac after prescription of your doctor to relieve pain. Your pain in stomach may be related to acidity of many drugs you are taking. You can take antacids and omeprazole for it. I want to know whether you get direct injury to your abdoman also.

You can discuss with your doctor about it and I advise you to also consult the emergency as soon as possible and get a xray done to assess for the presence and extent of fracture.
