Suggest Treatment For Severe Vaginal Bleeding While On Birth Control Pills
Question: I had elective surgery in August and was
Told to stop my birth control for 6 weeks prior. 6 weeks after my surgery I resumed birth control and had a normal cycle. Then I started a second birth control pack and with 4
Pills left in the pack I started spitting. I continued until the pack finished. On the first day of real blood I started my 3rd pack and now 5 days later my period won't go away. It isn't super heavy or flowing but it's like light blood but I'm getting worried

Brief Answer:
Leave the pill pack
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Basically you haven't had a proper shedding of uterine lining so either you can take two pills a day for 5 days and the one pill for 15 days.
But this will be a bit cumbersome so in my opinion leave the pill pack now and you will have a proper period.
On day 3 of that period start new pill pack
In case you have any other question please feel free to ask.
