Suggest Treatment For Shortness Of Breath And Severe Chest Pain
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I have been having shortness of breath and some severe chest pains. I have noticed over the past week that they are starting to increase. I was put on Xanax for panic attacks, and it seems to help with the breathing a little bit, the chest pains remain. I have noticed a tingling in my left foot and left hand before this occurs. Is this just an anxiety disorder?
Brief Answer:
Anxiety
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
i read your question and i understand your concern. Shortness of breath with chest pains once ruled out for cardiac, musculoskeletal or gastric discomfort are then likely and mostly anxiety induced which you are well put on xanax and lexapro.
Tingling in feet and hands unilateral is likely anxiety too. Although some other possibilities like nutritional neuropathies etc may also explain. Taking a dose of b12 injections would help for that.
Regarding the persistent chest pain just take some ibuprofen etc and see if it helps.
Take care
