Suggest Treatment For Shoulder And Muscle Pain

Question: Right shoulder pain since lifting weight (30 pound) 2 weeks back. No dislocation seems. Pain is felt while raising hand up or sidewise or if the tip of joining bone (shoulder & hand) is pressed. No discomfort otherwise. How to deal with the same?
Brief Answer:
It can be muscle strain.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case, and I think it can be a muscle strain in your shoulder. It may need investigation like ultrasound or MRI to confirm the diagnosis. But before I advised you any thing I would like to know little detail about your illness.
1. Are you having pain at night time also?
2. Do you able to move shoulder in all directions?
3. Is there any pain when you are not doing any thing?
Please send me answers of these questions. I will try my best to help you.
thanks

Hi Doctor,
Thanks. Please find my inputs.
1. Are you having pain at night time also? No. But at time if i sleep turning to right side with support of shoulder it pains in morning. However, not at all severe.
2. Do you able to move shoulder in all directions? Yes, I can move in all direction. However, as mentioned, while lift my hands up or side wise above shoulder height, i feel like pain in right shoulder. I also get little cracking sound in clavicle joint. Again very little sound and Pain in not severe that I cannot lift my hand or take any weight.
3. Is there any pain when you are not doing any thing? No.
No numbness in hand as well.
I would also like to mention post injury which happened 2 weeks back pain has whatever pain i suffered has reduced but not gone completely. Hence my question.
Thanks. Please find my inputs.
