Question: Im having horrible side effects from metronidazole can I stop taking it and be ok?

I had a tampon left in me for 3 weeks without knowing it until i had a foul smell from my vagina. My obgyn removed it and prescribed me the antibiotic. Ive been having a severe headache with pain behind my eyes, extremely lethargic, nauseas, and feels like my skin is being poked woth pins and needles also om very easily agitated.

If it is more than a week with metronidazole, you can stop it and see.

Or, else you can Take probiotics or other antibiotic like Cefixme 200mg. for about a week.

I've taken the metronidazole 500mg twice a day for 6 days. Not quite 7
Days so is it ok to stop? I have to work tomorrow and do not feel like feeling so awful.
