Suggest Treatment For Sinus Congestion And Stress
Diabetes
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
I am sorry to hear that you have had a bad cold and during this time you developed excessive thirst and excessive urination. This could be the early signs of diabetes. The cold may have just pushed you over the edge and you had high blood sugars during the stress from the cold. Your medical provider should have drawn blood for blood sugar to determine if you have diabetes
It could also have been the viral illness itself causing high heart rate, increase urine production and thirst. This should resolve once your head cold has resolved. Or if you were taking any medications for the head cold they could have caused side effects including increased urination and thirst.
In summary
1. Increased thirst and urination
2. Rule our diabetes
3. Viral illness itself
4. Side effects from medications
