Here are some

Detailed Answer:
Hi Dear User ! Thank you for using HCM .I read your question and I understand your concern .

Fitst the best thing is not to use decongestant for a long time cause of the side effect .(No more than 3 days cause may destroy your smell ability ).

-Don't use these 2 OTC in the same time .

I would recommend some "home remmedy " as the first best choice (without any side effect ) to keep your nose moistured:

-Use a nasal saline spray ( water with salt ) or a syringe with boilde (sterilized) water for irrigation

-Use a little pot of salty warm water up your nose

-Breath in steam from a pot of warm water ( Do it at least 2-3 times /day .

-Drink planty of fluid will help the blocked sinuses.

-Use peppermint tea (the mentol in it will help .decompress while you smell.)

-Take ibuprofen or Paracetamol for headache (not together with Alkaselzer)

If you have yellow discharge , fever or your condition gets worse you should go to a local doctor to rule out acute bacterial sinusitis after a cold .

Hope I have answered your question.
If you have any further clarifications I will be happy to help ,if not you can close the discussion.
