Suggest Treatment For Sinus Infection And Pain
Question: I have been diagnosed with a sinus infection and was given a Z-pack (2 days ago)- my body continues to feel very lethargic and ache, my ears still hurt and my lungs also hurt. I also just feel very faint. Is this normal after receiving treatment? Should be checked for other illnesses? I was given a flu test, which was negative. Thanks. YYYY@YYYY
Brief Answer:
This is normal and you would get over this soon!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. Considering all the information that you have provided, this is classical for convalescence stage of recovery. It Generally needs no further treatment. Good diet, regular exercise and increased fruits consumption often help with this. I expect you to start feeling a lot better within 5-7days. If this fails to happen, only then would I suggest that we get further exploration to understand what the problem is.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
