Suggest Treatment For Sinus Infection

Question: I was treated for a sinus infection 2 weeks ago. Given Amoxycillin 875 mg twice a day. I have lost all my sense of taste and smell. It has been 2 weeks. I am now done the antibiotic as of today. When should my taste/smell return?
Brief Answer:
it should return very soon...
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
when inflammation inside the nostrils subsides the smell (and taste) usually returns gradually (within a few days). If you don't have symptoms any more (congestion, runny nose, etc) then your smell should return very soon. Otherwise you should check with an ENT doctor or your primary care physician whether there's still active inflammation or not.
Kind Regards!
