Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic
I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your query and I have understood it.
Epiduo is an antiacne topical medication. It contains Adapalene, which makes the skin sensitive to bleaching, waxing, threading etc. Therefore the skin is more prone to irritation. I think that is what has happened in your case.
If I was the treating doctor I would have asked you to use a moderately potent topical steroid e.g Fluticasone propionate cream (Flutivate cream), twice daily to the affected area for a few days.
Regards

Are the over mentioned medications over the counter? If not could you please name any over the counter medications or creams to calm it down ? Thank you
Brief Answer:
Topical steroid
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
You could use hydrocortisone cream. It is available OTC. However, it is milder in potency as compared to Fluticasone propionate. Apply it twice daily for 5 days.
However, you need to check at a drug store for Fluticasone propionate cream, if you could find it then that would be ideal.
