Thanks. He is up to date on all vaccinations. Just got off of 10 days of amoxicillian for ear infection but had no reaction to amoxicillian while taking it. Now rash has spread and is starting to bruise. Waiting to hear back from his pediatrician but we are 6 hours away in WI so trying to figure this all pit and give him some reliefe.

Brief Answer:
Needs urgent medical attention.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
You should visit emergency room as early as possible because your baby needs urgent evaluation.
There might be chances of immune mediated vasculitis.
There is also a possibility of brain infection which can be linked to baby's recent ear infection.
Though you have vaccinated your baby completely but there is rare chance of getting these infections.

Diagnosis will depend on other associated symptoms and clinical Examination.

In the mean time treat baby symptomatic XXXXXXX Like paracetamol for fever. Cetrizine for itching and give baby plenty of oral fluids to maintain hydration.

Hope this helps you.
