Suggest Treatment For Skipped Heart Beat And High Heart Rate

Question: I had an ablation for a-fib 8 weeks ago. There is certainly improvement, but I still have "skipped" heart beats and I'm wondering if this is normal for awhile. They took me off propaferone 4 weeks ago. Since then my heart rate is somewhat higher
Brief Answer:
It may be normal, redo ECG monitoring...
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX!
The "skipped" beats that you are experiencing may a be normal finding especially after stopping propafenon.
I recommend redoing an ECG monitoring to evaluate the exact nature of the "skipped" beats (what sort of arrhythmia?). If the ECG monitoring result normal and no major arrhythmia is detected than don't worry It's normal.
Hope this was of Help!
Wish you a fast recovery!
