Suggest Treatment For Slight Sore Throat And Sneezing
The last few days my allergies have been killing me. I've had a slight sore throat thats gotten better but sneezing that wont let up. I'm still trying to figure out if the sneezing is coming from the new cat or new house plants.
My issue is: I've been sneezing for about 4 days straight when Im home. Today, I noticed that when I sneeze I get a slight stabbing headache in my right frontal lobe. It fades after a few min. I've been having more headaches than usual as well as a migraine.
Is it possible to sneeze so often you start to hurt from it? I know that can occur with coughing, but unsure about sneezing. Is this something I need to be concerned about, or is this just a normal reaction to more-than-normal sneezing?
Can be possible because of sneezing
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The allergy can be because of many constituents of a new place of living. You can find that out by carefully watching out your body reactions to different suspected allergens.
Regarding headache with sneezing, it is not unusual to have it for short duration after vigorous sneezing just like after coughing. Both sneezing and coughing increases the intra thoracic and intra cranial pressure for a short duration. This can lead to headache.
Otherwise also, allergy can lead to some edema of the mucosal lining of the nose and the sinus openings. This can cause some headache.
Please use an intranasal steroid nasal spray for few days along with steam inhalation. Meanwhile try finding out the allergen responsible.
