Suggest Treatment For Slightly High BP
Question: My blood pressure is 134 over 70 my pulse is 72 I feel odd.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.
Feeling 'odd' has many reasons actually. You have to be more specific so that we can diagnose what problem you have. Please describe other symptoms also like breathlessness, palpitations, dyspepsia etc. Still according to your medical history we will try to understand and solve your problem.
1.Uneasiness feeling may be due to simple dyspepsia (stomach problem) and gaseous problem which is usually precipitated by pulmicort you are taking since long time which contains steroids. If you feel better in your emphysema ask your doctor to reduce the dosage of pulmicort. Actually a combination of budesonide and salmeterol is better than plain budesonide. Ask your doctor he will understand.
2.The decicated thyroid you are taking is good but not best according to many doctors. I prefer in my patients LEVOTHYROXINE preparation which has better potency and predictable results. So even low thyroid levels may cause odd feelings. Ask your doctor about this also. I can't prescribe you online!
3 . Feeling of uneasiness may be related sometimes to heart problems. So My advice is just visit your doctor and go for ECG recording and 2d echo study. It will rule out heart trouble.
Also give your routine blood reports this time like CBC, lipid profile, thyroid profile, kidney profile etc. So things will be more clearer.
4 . You can take antacids at present like tab. Pentoprazole with prescription but please visit your doctor then we will guide you further how to proceed. At present your blood pressure and pulse is normal. So don't worry.

I have not taken any medication for my emphysema for nearly 2years but felt breathless at lying down so took 2puffs of Pulmicort for the first time in nearly 2years.
I do not take anacids,but I do take a reaspoon of Bragg ACV first thing in the morning and a little before and after a main meal, for low stomach acid.
Thank you for your reply ,was not sure if I did the right thing taking the Pulmicort
But it made me less breathless,as it used to when I was on it.

I think you have started pulmicort puffs without professional consultation might be a problem for your uneasiness as it is well known to cause dyspepsia and uneasiness even if you are taking ACV for acidity.
So, as I have mentioned in my previous answer I am giving different medicines in puffs which is also the drug of choice for emphysema will be helpful to you beyond doubt. But you require written prescription from doctor.
The other possibilities I have mentioned are also important. Kindly read it carefully and ask your doctor about that. Also the antacids I have advised are 1 st line drugs in indigestion and acidity so, ask your doctor about it.
Don't worry. Most probably pulmicort has started the problem which will be solved once you meet your doctor.

Just letting you know Pulmicort was prescribed two years ago ,but not used until yesterday,my doctor was aware I did the beuteyko breathing course and knows I
Had withdrawn all medication until yesterday I felt I needed it ,got a bit panicy.
