Suggest Treatment For Soft Lump In Upper Arm
Question: I fell off my bike about two weeks ago . Yesterday suddenly noticed a soft lump on muscle of my upper arm. Feels a little bruised nothing more. What treatment?
Brief Answer:
Local and by mouth analgesic drugs/pain killers that help reduce inflamatio
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using HCM,
It is normal for the muscle to feel like that in touch after getting damaged.
If it is painful I would recommend to take Ibuprofen 400mg 3 times/day as needed after food. It will help lower the inflamation also.
Using an analgesic gel that you can find over the counter and applying 3 times daily will be helpful also.
Try keeping the musle in use, not overusing it though- up to the starting of pain.
It will need normally up to 3-4 weeks to heal completely.
Hope this is helpful. Let me know if you need further clarifications. Otherwise please close and rate the answer.

I have Arnica is this ok to rub on?
Brief Answer:
Yes, it is very ok to use.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Yes, Arnica is perfectly ok to rub on. It will provide relief together with a sense of cold.
Don't forget to combine it with an oral painkiller if the relief from Arnica is not enough.
