Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Blood In Saliva

Information
Detailed Answer:
Hello Kay,
As long as you don't also have a fever or difficulty swallowing, you can wait until tomorrow. But tomorrow you should go in to have your throat looked at. There are a number of things that might be going on such as an infection in a tonsil, something lodged in a tonsillar crypt, a sinus infection with post nasal drainage, an irritation or inflammation of the pharynx on one side.
So do go in and have it looked at. If you go to an urgent care clinic, request specifically to see a doctor, and don't settle for a physician's assistant or nurse practitioner as you want someone with adequate training to diagnose this.
I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can provide further information.
