Brief Answer:
Take medicines as advised in answer.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,thank you for posting your query on health care magic.

I can understand your concern.

When you vomit, the gastric juices come up together. Those gastric juices are very acidic, and this leads to inflammation of the throat, as well as burning sensation and soreness.

A sore throat after vomiting shouldn’t last for very long.

Drink cool fluids, as these help soothe the throat by alleviating dryness. The coolness can also help the irritation.

Drink lots of liquids, including warm soups. When you eat, ensure it is soft food that is easy to swallow and is friendly to your digestive system.

Your son may take medicine like Antacid with Anti-vomiting like Pantoprazole with Domperidone and Analgesic with Antiinflammatory like Ibuprofen.
He may also take Anesthetic-Lignoocaine oral viscous solution 2%-for throat pain relief.

Hope this answers your question.I would be happy to answer if you have any follow-up questions.Get well soon to your son.
