Brief Answer:
Enlarged lymph node

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

You are talking about lymph node probably in the neck. These are enlarged and tender to touch if the areas that they drain are infected especially the throat which are constantly exposed to germs through air, food.

You can probably repeat the ultrasound and check if the size increased. If the lymph nodes are increasing you can get a biopsy and send for Histo pathology examination. If they are not increasing in size you can do 'wait and watch' approach. However a surgeon is the right person to examine it. So please meet a surgeon.

Hope this answers.
