Brief Answer:
Need more information.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. If you give some more information it will be more helpful.
Do you have mucous discharge from nose?
Is there any yellowish sputum?
Is there swelling of neck area or neck glands?
Do you have gastritis or heart burn (gastric reflux)?
A strep test can be done to rule out streptococcal infection. If positive antibiotic therapy will be needed. take warm fluids like tea with lemon , ginger and honey , chicken soup with pepper etc. Avoid cold foods and drinks. You can do chlorhexidine gargle. Taking chewable vitamin C is also good for early recovery.
Let me know if anything not clear. I am happy to help you.
Thanks.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.
Thank you for your follow up.
It can be bacterial infection in such case. You can follow the above measures. If there is no improvement or worsening then antibiotic will be required. In such case i would suggest antibiotics like azithromycin or Co amoxiclav. You can approach your GP in that case for prescription.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
