Bumps On Back Of Tongue, Painful Roof Of Mouth, Hoarse Throat. Strep Test Positive. Taken Rocephin, Cefdiner. Viral Infection?

I have 6 bumps across the back of my tongue. The roof of my mouth aches at times. The left side of throat (lypmp node is swollen). I get hoarse after talking too long. Finally got a doctor to do strep test. It was positive. My first symptoms was red raw small bumps around the outer part of my tongue all the way round. Gargle with salt water. Dissipated. About 4-5 days later went back to doctor with complaints of feeling bad. This is when strep test done, Wednesday. Rocephin shot and Rx. Cefdiner300mg given. The roof of my mouth still hurts. Really no change. I do not feel as bad such as flu like symtoms which occurred when my throat started hurting. Does strep cause the bumps. No puss pockets noted just raised bumps. These may have been there all along since they are so far back on my tongue.

Could I have had a viral infection causing the bumps that got infected?

Hello,
The bumps are ulcers ,which developed due to-poor oral hygiene maintenance, vitamin deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, anxiety.
I would advice you to maintain oral hygiene well.
Use tongue scrapers to clean your tongue.
Take plenty of fluids and nutritious diet.
Vitamin b12,iron supplements has to be administered.
Rinse your mouth after every meals.
Avoid anxiety.
Hope this helps.
