Suggest Treatment For Soreness In Arms Caused By An Injury

Question: On Tuesday, I fell on concrete. I broke the fall with both hands. Went to an immediate care center. No broken bones. Arms are still sore. Don't have the strength to open medicine bottle, or drive. Was given two prescription medications. Is there anything else I should be doing? What may be the prognosis?

I have gone through your query and understand your concern.As you do not have bony injury the prognosis is excellent.My suggestions for early recovery are-
1.Ice fomentation, rest and limb elevation to reduce pain and swelling.
2.You may have drug trypsin/chymotrypsin to reduce swelling beside the pain killer medicine.

I have gone through your reply carefully. For black eye drugs (trypsin/chymotrypsin) suggested earlier helps along with ice application.Do you take aspirin?
Black eye usually improves naturally in a time span of 2-3 weeks.
