Brief Answer:
It makes no big difference!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this possible spider bite. It is good to identify what the exact cause of the lesions you found is but there is no reason to get concerned. Treatment is the same no matter whether the bite was caused by a spider or not.

At this point, management consists in managing your symptoms, taking care of the wound and vaccinating you against tetatnus if you are not vaccinated. For the pains and light headache, Tylenol would be a good option to go with. Cleanse the wound twice daily, keep it clean, dry and airy. Should any drainage be observed or increasing pain or area of redness, please seek further care. Otherwise, not necessary at this time. And if your vaccination status is not up to date, get it scheduled and completed.

Finally, keep the milieu always clean. If insects are of concern to you, call pest control services to have a settled ind.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Thank you for replying with an answer. I was under the assumption that I paid my money, but wasn't going to get an answer unless I downloaded something.
