Thanks, do you recommend a special diet for the bleeding? I will be on a mini-vacation this weekend, do you recommend no wine or red meats?
Thanks, again

I assume too much of anything, esp. wine won't help but may make things worse,
Do you have an opinion on whether I should have let the dr. remove the fibroid without any medications for pain during my recent visit? I was afraid of the pain, wasn't sure if I would bleed more, and wondered what my primary obgyn thought about removing it then. Yesterday, my primary doctor emailed me and asks me do I want a hysterectomy and I'm not sure when she can do anything. I have concerns on how long and how much I may bleed (esp since my regular period may be starting soon around April 1 and I had my last period beginning Mar. 3 and it was really heavy and clots for 2 days as well)...that would be over a month of bleeding (light to heavy and maybe even heavier).
Thanks again for any response, and I have no more questions for now.

Brief Answer:
As below
Detailed Answer:
Yes, exactly, too much of anything , is never going to help.
Would you upload the scan / tests / reports, that document the fibroid, so that I can comment upon how urgently the surgery should have been done.
Yes, you may expect heavy bleeding again, which maybe difficult to manage, given the vacation you have coming up.
Take care.
