Brief Answer:
Follow as advised
Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend
There is no need of Methypred in your scenario.
I advise following in such situations:
1. To take anti inflammatory pain killer like Diclofenac, Etoricoxib.
2. To apply Diclofenac (Volini) gel locally.
3. Do hot fomentation every 6 hours.
4. Give complete rest to your knee.
This swelling should subside in 5 days, if it persists you would require a MRI to see for any ligament tear or blood collection.
Don't take Methylpred for such things.
If you have any further query, please ask me.
Follow as advised
