Brief Answer:
keeping XXXXXXX should help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

There are two common causes of upper back pain:
1. muscular irritation,
2. joint dysfunction.

However mostly upper back pain is not generally caused by a serious condition.

The reason may be: not enough exercise, being overweight, sitting for too long or lifting heavy objects also high level of stress.

It can be successfully treated by taking over the counter painkillers and trying to keep XXXXXXX Also physiotherapy may help.

But to be sure that nothing serious is happening i would order for base line:
x-ray of the neck and shoulder joint to find out if something such as herniated disc is not causing your pain.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
