I dont have fever or itching. Could it be ringworm ( as trasnsmitted by a cat?)
Brief Answer:
It can be ring worm
Detailed Answer:
Hello
It's not staph.
I asked history of fever and pain to rule out this.
Yes you are correct, the most probable diagnosis is ringworm.
I treat such cases with topical clotrimazole.
It gives good response within a week.
You can try this .
Let me know if you have any other doubt.
Thank you

So you are not sure? What about psoriasis?
Brief Answer:
Fungal infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello
It's not psoriasis.
The most probable diagnosis is fungal infection.
I am saying most probable because I have not physically examined the lesion.
Just relax and go ahead with antifungal cream you will get benefit.
Let me know if you have any other doubt.

I went to see a dermatologist yesterday and it is NOT ringworm....
Brief Answer:
Diagnosis can vary
Detailed Answer:
Hello
With physical appearance it was appearing as a ring worm ( tinea corporis).
Diagnosis may vary depending upon doctor's perception.
I would like to know the diagnosis of your dermatologist.
Probably I can add on my views to that.
Thank you
