Question: I have leg pain that wakes me at night. My legs are stiff and it is painful to walk. I had foot surgery and was off my feet this summer for 8 weeks, but have been walking since. the pain gets worse after I have walked longer.
What could this be.

The way you have described your pain , it appears to be due to spinal canal stenosis.
I suggest you get an MRI of lower spine to know the exact cause.
