Brief Answer:
the stomach symtpoms do not seem to be related to levaquin
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
tendinitis is a documented side effect of quinolones which may occur even months after taking the drug. Stomach symptoms and constipation are not supposed to last for more than the days you use it. Perhaps your doctor should consider other causes like gallbladder problems or intestinal problems, etc.
Kind Regards!

Had gallbladder out several years ago. why would this condition start after taking levaquin?
Brief Answer:
can't explain, can only make assumptions...
Detailed Answer:
I can't provide any explanation for the stomach cramps (I mean for this duration). Regarding the intestine perhaps the change in intestinal flora can provide an explanation assumingly levaquin disturbed it. In any case, return to normality is expected very soon after stopping the antibiotic. Imagine that even in cases with seriously disturbed flora and diarrheas the intestine may get over it in less than 24 hours after stopping the antibiotic.
Constipation of recent onset is a good reason to do a colonoscopy, if you haven't done one recently. You should also check for calcium levels, TSH (thyroid stimulation hormone) and urea/creatinine.
Probiotics may help in cases where the flora is disturbed.
I hope it helps!
Kind Regards!
